These heavy duty cable protectors are designed with a new Tread Pattern and Fish Bone Connectors to withstand load bearing of between 300-500 tons for large mining trucks. Elasco has created the first gull-wing designed cable protector in the industry which comes in 4.5” size channels. The patented gull-wing designed lid allows the lid ramp to connect to the base of the protector, giving added strength to the cable protector. The sturdy, patent-pending design enables the cable protector to withstand the highest load capacity available. It is offered in two or four channel options. Both options include bonus 2” channels in addition to an updated tread pattern and connector design. The cable protectors are made for extreme heavy load conditions in any industry and they can withstand the most brutal and demanding environments. This is a Polyurethane Product. Compared to other materials such as Rubber, Plastics, and Metals, Polyurethane offers the best product characteristics. Polyurethane is not biodegradable, has stronger abrasion and corrosion resistance. It has higher load bearing capacity, is less likely to crack, and has more customization potential in material hardness and color.
