The bolt-on style is best suited for installation during initial guardrail construction. The glue-on style can be used at any time because installation does not require the loosening and re-tightening of existing guardrail bolts.
Butterflys are as bright as molded acrylic markers but won’t shatter upon impact, they simply flex. The trapezoidal shape of the Butterfly makes it a perfect fit inside of all W-beam style guardrails.
