Flip tops make it easier to add or remove cables, and typically support heavier vehicles, when compared to drop over cable protectors.
TPU offers a high durability option when compared to our economical rubber flip top protectors. TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is an industrial-strength plastic. Compared to rubber, TPU is 10x stronger, lighter, and has a higher load bearing capacity, withstands more extreme temperature conditions, typically has a longer life than rubber, and has no rubber odor.
This medium-duty cable protector has five 1.5" channels for cables, hoses, and cords. Base is made from virgin TPU for superior durability and hazard resistance, topped by a bright yellow LLDPE plastic lid. This locking style cable protector has a more secure lid than most flip top styles, making it especially appropriate in high pedestrian traffic areas. Lid closes securely and when you need to open, pull up on a corner, or pop open with a screwdriver in one of the center notches. This attractive cable protector provides a safe crossing for pedestrians, cars, and most heavy trucks in offices, garages, warehouses, hotels, and retail locations.
